What Other Explorers Say

Connor was absolutely amazing. He was extremely funny, patient, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. It was a lovely experience and if I were to do another tour with this company, I’d definitely choose Connor as the driver.

Our guide, Emily, was fun, funny, and considerate. Her commentary on the history and language of the Scottish was a great help to those of us grappling with the language for a first time. We felt safe and cared for despite tricky roads and ever-changing weather. Her recommendations for shopping and dining were spot-on. A day in the highlands was a lovely respite from the business of the Arts Festival.

This was one of the best parts (if not THE best part) of our trip to Scotland. I have always associated tours with speed and slight discomfort, and this completely changed my mind. In around 9ish hours we saw some incredible sights, learned SO much about Edinburgh (our departure spot) and every stop along the way, ate some fantastic food, and got to really soak in every part of what we were seeing.

Truly amazing to see stunning castles and lochs under the atmospheric Scottish sky. From taking in the view of the incredible landscape to feeding hairy coos and our entertaining guide Emily's storytelling, we loved every bit of this tour. She also had great tips on food and places to visit both on the tour and for the rest of our trip :)

Alistair is a terrific guide! We really enjoyed the tour. Lots of beautiful stops. Plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. And the trip to Castle Doune was very interesting.

We went on the Castle, West Highlands, and Loch Lomond tour with Emily as our driver and guide. She's awesome - super friendly, quirky, and fun, plus very knowledgeable about local history, birds, eco diversity, and a range of other fascinating facts. We got to see some amazing sights of the beautiful countryside of Scotland. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Big thank you to Emily, our brilliant tour guide, for taking us on a fantastic day trip. I’m so glad we ended up choosing this package as it was a very well-curated visit out of the city and into the highlands. So many beautiful views with a decent amount of time dedicated to each spot. I appreciated Emily’s informative and engaging commentary during the drives, she was fantastic!
