Walk the Fairy Pools: Scotland’s Natural Wonder on Isle of Skye
Enjoy a 75-minute walk to the Fairy Pools, a real highlight of the day. The trail runs along a rocky glen at the base of the Cuillin Mountains, following a stream with clear pools and small waterfalls. The terrain is mostly gravel with some uneven sections and river crossings using stepping stones, so take your time and soak in the magical landscape around you.
Difficulty: Easy to medium.
Before you go: Please note the walk is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Sturdy shoes are recommended. It’s a good idea to bring a few layers and a waterproof jacket as the weather can shift quickly on the Isle of Skye.
